About Us:

The ECCOTA Gallery is located on Main St. in beautiful downtown Ridgway. The gallery proudly features over 40 local and regional artists in a variety of mediums.  All artists displayed in the ECCOTA Gallery have been accepted through a jury process with our Gallery Committee.

Perks of Becoming an ECCOTA Artist:

¨ In 2013, the gallery underwent major renovations which have allowed us to display a large amount of artwork in a professional setting. Renovations included: new floor, faux tin ceiling, track lighting, display items, and a new
awning to brighten up the outside.

¨ We promote our artists and their work through Facebook and by providing clean and professional web presence within the ECCOTA website. Our website features an online shop, artist profile pages, classes, exhibits, events, wish lists, registries, and more.

¨ The gallery hours vary seasonally.  We do not require our artists to work in the gallery– ECCOTA’s regular staff and interns covers all shifts.

¨ As a benefit to our members we offer a 20% discount on all purchases made between December 1 and December 31.  This promotion encourages sales and serves as a thank you to our members and sponsors (remember you’re a member too- so don’t forget to stop in and shop your fellow artists).

¨ There is no fee to apply. Our artists pay a yearly minimum membership fee of just $12- $15 and an exhibitor fee of just $25.00 . These fees allow us to cover a small portion of the operating costs necessary to keep the gallery open.

    When We Jury
The 2018 jury sessions will be held in March and September.
Please note: The Gallery Committee typically juries and accepts new artists twice a year.

    Next Jury Session: Date TBA
Artists may submit their work and materials to ECCOTA between dates TBA. Submissions may be dropped off at the ECCOTA Gallery located at 237 Main Street Ridgway during regular business hours.
