Changing of the guard...
A message from ECCOTA President,
Liz Hammer
As you may or may not be aware Elk County is losing a fine
asset to our community. After 5 years in Ridgway, four of which she worked with
ECCOTA, first serving as a member of the Board and general staff and then
spending the past two years as Executive Director, Andi Willis is leaving our
organization. And although she will no longer live in Elk County her
contributions will live in the heart and soul of ECCOTA for years to come.
Andi, we thank you for your hard work, perseverance and dedication
and wish you and your family the best of luck
in your new endeavors in Perry, GA.
As Andi moves on, Abbi Peters has accepted the position of
Executive Director. Abbi and her husband, artist Charles Wish, moved to Ridgway
in May 2007 after purchasing the old school house on Walnut Street. Peters
studied Art Education and Fine Arts at Kutztown University and then moved to Los
Angeles, CA. She spent the past seven years broadening her administrative
experience in the fields of fashion and music accessories, while expanding her
creative spirit in the mediums of comedy, jewelry and photography.
Over the years the Arts Council has been blessed with some
extraordinarily talented women. And I believe we are again blessed.
Welcome
aboard Abbi!
