Dean & Carol Fry founded Balsam Ridge Workshop LLC back in 2007. They have since been making custom knives in their shop in the mountains of Tioga County near Wellsboro, PA. This two person crew work together to create unique items. Dean specializes in designing and grinding the blades and leather-work. Meanwhile, Carol is the Mastermind of handle design and finishing.
